With 50Hz video signal input, Motion Picture Pro 2 creates 100 frames/1 sec from 50 frames/1 sec. This increases the frame count to allow natural frame-to-frame transitions, which results in smooth motion images with high resolution. With Motion Picture Pro 2, the TX-32LZD85 VIERA LCD also detects areas with motion and activates backlight blinking for those areas only, greatly enhancing resolution. Smooth reproduction of movie images a cinematic effect is achieved to preserve the quality of images that are recorded onto movie film at 24 frames per second.

Images are beautiful and crisp, even when viewers are sitting at an angle to the TX-32LZD85 LCD TV. The IPS Alpha panel has a wide viewing angle, so the images are crisp and clear even when viewed from an angle - unlike some televisions. I will not beat around the bush and talk in all the techno-babble that you see in some reviews. All I will say is that the picture on this set it stunning! The sound is great to, I have cable TV running through it, as well as Freeview and I have no complaints whatsoever. The kids love hooking up the Nintendo Wii to it as well, and there are still loads of connections available. I bought this TV after seeing one review of it in a magazine, and I'm glad I did. If you want a TV that looks and sounds great, then look no further. I bought it when it was £779, but I see that it has since been reduced. What a bargain! Go on, buy one, you know you want to!!
